Founded by professional rider Ben Spill our mission is to teach riders how to push their limits while staying in control. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, we offer a place where riders can grow, learn, and thrive.
Meet Ben Spill – The Rider Behind Dirt bike Academy
With over 25 years of riding experience, Ben Spill is a name recognized across Europe and Southeast Asia for his dedication to motocross.
Born and raised in the UK, Ben started riding at just four years old and quickly fell in love with the adrenaline and challenge of motocross. His career has taken him from racing in the UK to competing across Europe, Egypt, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

Ben believes that the key to being a great rider isn’t just about going fast—it’s about mastering the fundamentals. His teaching revolves around one simple truth: if you have the basics down, speed and skill will follow naturally.
“I’ve seen too many riders try to jump ahead without learning how to control the bike. That’s where crashes happen. My approach is to build a solid foundation—starting with attack position, braking, and cornering. Once you’ve got those, you can ride faster, with more control, and stay safer.”
Our story
Dirt bike Academy came to life when Ben saw the need for a dedicated motocross school in Vietnam. As the only motocross facility in Northern Vietnam, DBA is a place where riders of all levels can hone their skills.
There are many crashes and injuries in Vietnam. We hope through guidance and training we can eliminate these mistakes.
